Lactobacillus Granules is used for:

Aiding digestion, preventing diarrhea, and alleviating symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Lactobacillus Granules is a dietary supplement. It introduces "friendly bacteria" into the digestive tract, which helps many different conditions.

Do NOT use Lactobacillus Granules if:

  • you are allergic to any ingredient in Lactobacillus Granules
  • you are sensitive to milk or soy products

Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Before using Lactobacillus Granules:

Some medical conditions may interact with Lactobacillus Granules. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

  • if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
  • if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement

  • If you miss a dose of Lactobacillus Granules, take it as soon as you remember. Continue to take it as directed by your doctor or on the package label.

Important safety information:

  • PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant while taking Lactobacillus Granules, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Lactobacillus Granules during pregnancy. It is unknown if Lactobacillus Granules is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using Lactobacillus Granules, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.

Possible side effects of Lactobacillus Granules:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue).
